Hi everyone!
I have onboarded a new client and my supposed start date is July 17, as per the contract. But the client and I decided to start July 3 instead. How can we update the start date? Thank you!

If I was in this situation, I would tell the client to close the contract and create a new contract with the correct start date.

Thanks for the reply, Preston! I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I wonder if there's another way? Can't a contract start date be edited? Thanks!

Hi Arian Marie,
Preston is correct. The only way to change the start date is to end the contract so that the client can rehire you, and update the start date.
