How to change rates on my Profile

Hi ,

I am migrated to the UpWork platform from ODesk. I had set a rate some on my profile in ODesk and now however best I try to change the profile rate, I cannot change it.

I tried going to FInd Work --> Profile and there is no edit button on the rate. The pencil (edit) button is available for all the other options except for rate.

Can someone advise, how to change the rate.

If the rate cannot be changed, can we remove the profile rate?

I came to upwork from odesk. I registered my odesk account in 2010. That is around 6 years back.

Hi Chandu,

Sorry about the confusion. It looks like you are an exclusive contractor in the agency you are running. Because of it, you can change your rate by going to your agency profile (just click on the round picture in the upper right corner and select your agency from the menu) and then navigating to the Agency Roster. Check the box next to your rate, select Profile Rate and click apply.

Hi Bai, 

You should be able to edit your hourly rate by hovering your mouse pointer on your hourly rate, and clicking on the pencil icon, as shown on the screen grab below.
