How to close an old contract?

I have a client that I have done a couple of jobs with but he is bad in leaving feedback and closing project. How do I close a project? I go to https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211062248-End-a-Freelancer-s-Contract?flash_digest=1658... and that is like looking at the history channel and no longer works.
