How to decline a job twice

An UW Talent Specialist invited me to bid on a job posted by an Enterprise client, a job to which I was previously invited and declined because it is a poor fit for my skills. I would like to decline (again) with a quick note about the skills mis-match (again) but the system won't let me decline a job I've already declined, forcing me to simply ignore the invitation. (I don't do that normally, I respond to all invitations because it typically takes less than a minute and it's the mannerly thing to do.) It seems to me if the system can tell me I already declined the job, it could tell the TS I already declined the job so I wouldn't get invited a second time. Sheesh.

Agreed.  I got an Enterprise invitation recently (my first!) and declined it, only to get invited again by a Talent Specialist.  I always reply to invitations and was somewhat upset that I was invited again.  Sheesh indeed!

Hi Phyllis and Mary,

I'm checking on this with the team. So far it appears that the issue is actually not with a second invite, as there was only one invite sent, but with the notification for that invite being delayed or duplicated. We'll be further investigating this and addressing the issue, but no further action is needed on your end. You have already declined the invite, there is no need to decline it again and there will be no negative effect on your responsiveness score.
