I recently entered into a contract to write a cease and desist for a yelp review and the client deposited money into escrow. Before I began the project, the reviewer (or yelp) took the review down. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to close the contract without it effecting my JSS score. I've read that when contracts end, and no money was exchanged, it hurts JSS because it is thought of as an uncessful project. However, in this case, it is literally impossible for me to now do what I was contracted for, so I think it's unfair if my JSS score is effected.

As long as the client doesn't give you poor private feedback (in this case, I don't think they will), it won't affect your JSS.
