I am working with a client. I have completed one milestone and fund ws released. The client has set a new milestone but oddly it doesn't seem funded. Should I continue with the work because I want to be paid for my work. What should I do? How should I ensure that I won't get cheated upon? I have attached the screen shot of the contract for your assessment.

Hi Neha,
You need to go to "My Jobs" and on that particular contract click on "Job Details." There it should list the milestones. Look at the second one and it should say "Funded" next to it. If not, do not start on the project. Kindly remind the client that you will start on it once the milestone is funded.

"Amount in escrow: $8.00" What does it mean?
It means what it says. That $8 are in Escrow. That does not necessarily mean the milestone is funded.
