How do you stand out from the crowd in order to get jobs? I see many complaints here about people failing to get jobs because they are "one in the many" within a job posting. Then how do you people get jobs in the first place? I even see some poor saps posting on the "employer" side of upwork just to get hired in the first place.
Wow them with:
1. Job title
2. Skills chosen
3. Intro of cover letter
4. Profile: portfolio pieces and grammar (in my case)
Below are optional but quite helpful additions
6. Profile pic (subjective)
*Yup, JSS plays a major role according to some of my clients.
“How do you stand out from the crowd in order to get jobs?”
Answering these two questions might help:
1) What makes you special, or what uniquely qualifies you?
2) Now imagine you are a client. What are you looking for in the freelancer?
