I applied for a job, the client then message me the details of the work. Because I'm new to Upwork I didn't know that clients can send a contract to start the job & that it's very suggested to basically have a contract first before working on the job. But since I'm new I didn't knew any of that. I basically did the job and then the client deleted the job post I can't contact them I don't have any ss of the chat either as I didn't see this coming. I only have screenshot of the proposal is active, the post cannot be accessed, the link of the job post, and the jobs that they wanted me to do. Could you please open a ticket about this? That would be much appriciated

I am sorry for you, but being new is not an excuse. Trying to get work without knowing how Upwork has to be used is the worst mistake made by newcomers. Scammers take advantage of this and the result is what happened to you.

Would you buy a parachute, put it on, and jump off a cliff without reading the instructions first?

It is not very suggested. It is mandatory. Please do not do attempt to work again without taking the Academy courses first.

And no, Upwork will not help you.
