I recently misread a job posting (pretty embarrassed) and submitted a proposal. After the potential client contacted me and we discussed the job, it became clear that I had made a mistake and shouldn't have applied. Our conversation was nothing but respectful and I apologized for my mistake, then she marked me as "spam". How will this affect me?
