I am new on Upwork and I recently interact with the client but he is not replying

Hi,

I am new on Upwork as SQA Engineer. I recently interact with my first client. I asked him to have a meeting to discuss the project details. I am waiting for his reply for last two weeks but he still not replied me.
I want your kind guidelines how I can contact him OR if he is not interested to work with me then how I can update status in my profile that says "1  active candidate" ?

It sounds like the client doesn't want to discuss the job further at this time, and there's no way (or reason) to update your status. Don't wait for clients to get back to you; just move on and apply for other jobs.

I am agree with your answer. I was thought that if he not replied than obviously his project still shows on my profile as "1 candidate active"and  it will maybe make not good impact on my profile. but you have answered clearly.
