I can’t download attachments on my iPad

Hello! I’m trying to download attachments on my iPad Air 3 but when I click one either from messages or jobs I get redirected to a link where the attachment is displayed but can’t be downloaded. Any way to fix this without first downloading the attachment on a different device and sending it to my iPad after?
