I can't log into my account

My friend is using this account to type this message.  He signed up with an email address and subsequently changed his account email a month later.  The old email address has been deleted and now he is unable to sign into his account.  His new email address still receives notifications from clients and Upwork yet he can't sign in??

Can someone please assist?
