I received an email that said, almost a month ago...
"While we investigate our concerns with your client, I’ve placed a temporary hold on your ability to withdraw funds. This hold is to ensure your financial security during the investigation."
"You will, however, be able to invoice on contracts with other clients, receive funds from these other clients, submit proposals to other jobs, and communicate with all clients via Upwork Messages."
I assumed I was only able not to withdraw funds from this troubled client; but I just received payment from a new client, and I can't withdraw his funds either...why is this?

What do you mean you "just" received it. Was it escrow? How long ago was it released?

It was pending the last 5 days, and just became available; this has nothing to do with the last client who is being investigated.

I don't see how that client, has to do with funds with another client. I doubt the client with the issue is even responding to you guys, since he won't even respond to me. He ended the job abruptly; and then the next few days I see upwork put a hold on his account and my funds. He never told me why he ended the job.

Hm... you should be able to withdraw it via the Get Paid button. You will need to contact CS about this.
