I cannot change my profile photo

Began to undergo visual verification.

I was told to change your profile photo, but when I start changing, an error appears!

Hi,

 

I used an ID photo in my upwork profile but I got an error saying

"Your profile photo does not meet Upwork Requirements. "

I find this odd as my photo is me, and is my ID photo. I have a plain white background and wearing a suit jacket so I don't know why I'm getting this error when other photos seems to be regular selfies....

Nevertheless, I tried uploading a new photo but I'm getting an error

"Unable to get a proper response from the server "

Hi!

I got an error of "Unable to get server response" when I try to change profile picture. I've tried to do so from different browsers (Separately from phone and Desktop), tried clearing caches, but Couldn't overcome it. Kindly help me out.

Could you please check if the image you're trying to upload is in .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png format and at least 250px by 250px? Also, make sure that it's a clear photo of yourself, not a long shot and your face is clearly visible. If you still can't upload it after checking that, then please try clearing your cache and cookies and using a different browser and see if the problem persists.

Hi,

 

Can't upload a new picture of myself. The error is "Unable to get a proper response from the server", even though the photo is bigger than 250x250, and has extension .jpeg, and is a clear photo of me.

Mine worked when I changed it thru my phone. Still giving me the same error
message though whenever I try to change it on the computer. Hope this

Hello,

 

I'm getting an error while uploading my profile picture, it says: Unable to get a proper response from the server. I tried clearing the cache/cookies, going incognito, changing browsers but nothing is working so far. I also have tried different images and taking care of the photo specifications i.e. it should be 250x250 at least, max of 4000 pixels and 5MB.
