I had missed a 2-week old message from my long-contract client because Upwork failed to send me an email notification when it happened.
I had been busy for the past two weeks, so I only checked my email twice a day without bothering to open Upwork to prevent myself from getting distracted with the new job posts. However, little did I know that I have missed an important message from my ongoing contract about a new job that he needs me to do.
