I dont understand why i see incorrect money counting

Hello,
Could you help me with the following:
- I had 8$ per hour and in the end of the day i saw e.g. 8$*8h = 64$ (with all the fees) in my contract
- yesterday my client rised my rate from 8$ to 10$, but in the end of the day i didn't see e.g. 10$*7:30h = 75$, I see $69.67

And i don't understand why, thanks in advance. @moderator

When a client raises the rate, the new rate applies only to the hours logged after the raise, not to the hours worked before the raise.

I reported the most of the hours after the raising, I will check today and leave the comment for the future freelancers, thanks.
