I already finished a job from a client. It was an hourly job, and I finished it days ago. It's been days and I've been waiting for my client to end the contract himself, but until now he hasn't been online. Will the hourly payment still push through. His payment method is verified. Also, how will I get a feedback from him now? It was my first job and I was really hoping that something will come up in my profile. Also, is it possible if I'll be the one to end the contract? Thanks!

Don't close the contract, just leave it opened and search for a new one.
Clients are often **Edited for Community Guidelines** and you obviosuly can't force them to leave a feedback.
It is unfortunate as it's your first job, but just continue to push and get a new one.

Thanks for this. Would I still get the payment even if he's not responding?

If you tracked / logged your time correctly, yes.

Yes, if you used Upwork Time Tracker to log the hours. If you used manual time, well, you are out of luck if the client disappeared.
I know this very well unfortunately ^^

ONLY in the relatively rare case that the client's payment method fails.
