Nearly every job I look at, where the client has feedback from their time at Elance, has no feedback for dozens and dozens of freelancers.
I can't even consider a client like this.
Time and time again Customer Support and Moderators tell us we must choose our jobs very carefully.
How can anyone seriously consider these clients when you know ahead of time there's no feedback coming at the end of the contract?
Mind you lots of spammy freelancers and $3 freelancers apply and I can only image what the client thinks.
What is Upwork specifically doing to educate Elance clients.
I was under the impression that if they end a contract on Upwork, then they have to leave feedback... or there's not much else they can do until they do. There was never anything like that on Elance, so there was no real benefit for them to leave feedback (apart from it being the right thing to do). There is here, so hopefully that should result in a whole bunch of feedback from Elance clients. Maybe not. You never know.
