How can I access my elance account?I have tried to access it using my username/email and password but failed. I have tried to recover my password several times and i get this message:

"Change Password Request Received

An email is on its way with a link to reset your password. But hurry, it expires in 24 hours."

but no messages reach my inbox. Please, I need to correct some mistakes in my profile as it does not look good when googling my name.

info: The account uses a Yahoo mail.

Have you tried checking your spam and trash mail? If you still can't find your reset password email, please reply to this thread. Thank you.

Hello Ryan,

Thank you for replying. I did check my spam along with every other folder. I also checked trash and even sent mails after reading your reply. I also did not mention that sometimes an "Error 502" appears after submitting reset password request.

Elance was shut down for good on the 21st of February. There is no longer any way to access it.

Victoria's Elance account was shut down with it...

it does not look like it was shut down since I can access Elance web site and see all my personal profile information. I can see it when I Google as well. Elance account information appears in the search. The only thing I cannot do it is to access the account and to recover password to close it.

Elance Site Shutdown 21st February 2018

"...that on February 21, 2018, Elance will be completely shut down and you will no longer be able to log in "

The landing page still exists, but it just takes you to Upwork afterwards.

If you click on "Find Freelancers" on the Elance landing page it just takes you immediately to Upwork too.

It takes quite a while before Google "forgets" things, but it will eventually go.

You can no longer log into Elance, however.

I don't think you can anymore. Elance is dead - gone - done - dusted and all records have been buried with it. One day one might find the pyramid, but nobody has built that yet and the Elance CEOs have disappeared into the conjurer's hat.
