I recently traveled to Turkey, may I get paid via my Malaysian PayPal?

Hi everyone!

I am a freelancer who travels a lot and now I am in Turkey.

As you may know, PayPal does not operate in Turkey anymore.

Altough I have changed my country to Turkey in my profile, in the section of adding billing method, PayPal option is still available for me.

Can I add the verified PayPal account I created in Malaysia as a billing method?

And can I transfer my money (on Upwork) to my PayPal account?

Hi Sajad,

PayPal is available in many countries but not in all of them. You can find payment methods available in your country by going to your Settings> Get Paid and clicking Add a Payment method. Check out this help article for more information.
