I wan to know why my payment request awaiting milestone?

Hi,

I am a new to Upwork. And this is my first project on Upwork. First of all client send to me milestone requested and I accepted it. When the project is done and I will submit the project and client accept it. But I can't give feedback buyer. And how client feedback me. Also I can see awaiting milestone, why?

Please I don't understand everything.

On a fixed price contract (which it sounds like you have used) the client sets up the milestone, deposits the required money to meet that milestone, then you complete the work for that milestone.

Once the work is completed, you submit work for payment, if the client approves the request, then you get paid in the next paymnt cycle.

The contract then remains open, your client can add a new milestone if there is more work, or they can close the contract if the project is complete. Once the contract has been closed you will both be able to leave feedback

EDITED TO ADD:

You can also close the contract, but I would recomend asking the client to close it first if you are specifically wanting to gain feedback as they will be required to add feedback when closing. (If you are closing the contract the client is less likely to go through the process, particulary if they are not regular Upwork users)
