Hi Arafat,

Welcome to oDesk Community! Please, check out this forums post for some extra information. It does take some time, patience and persistence to land your first job. I would also recommend you keep working on your profile overivew and make it more clear.

Best of luck!

The Google translated profile information has to go!

Find someone to help you make it right and do NOT apply for jobs requiring a good command of English (remove things like article specialist, blog/forum poster). It looks like you have skills that are more graphics-intensive - apply to those jobs where the language situation may not be an issue.

But if you are selling your graphics skills, you need to get a portfolio. I'm not seeing your full profile (thanks oDesk), so maybe you have one. If not make one. Only put work that you have done yourself. Explain what aspects of the project you did and who the client was. If it is just something you have done as sample work for your portfolio, be sure to mention that.

Not sure if your profile is translated via Google or you've just taken out a thesaurus and changed the words.

Revise your profile because it barely makes sense. You should remove any skill that require any form of English writing from your profile until you grasp a better understanding of the language.

Focus on your cover letter. I can't stress how important the cover letter is.

Also, PLEASE remove "I giver creative and quick and dirty organization" from your profile. I don't know what it means but seeing "dirty organisation" isn't going to 'sell'.

Good luck sir!

Are you actually good at logo and print design?  Focus on skills that you do not need English for.
