I want to change my membership to basic?

I want to switch my membership plan to basic.

i tried many times and I get the same message that said, " we are in the process of subscription renewals and upgrades are not possible during that period. please come back later."

please help cancel the paid membership before the 15$ subscription fee is deducted.

I tried twice to change my membership, but it didn't work the upwork site popped a note for me that we are in process of subscription renewals and upgrades are not possible during period 

so could you help me to change it to basic
