I want to get an assistant

I am a feelancer based in London-UK,

I am planning to hire a virtual assistant to handle my Upwrok communications and bidding since i am busy with the projects i have in hand.

Please let me know if it is possible to hire freelancer from outside of UK, she/he will be log in outside of UK and with different IP? is this gonna affect my profile?

Not allowed. Nobody other than yourself is allowed to toch, let alone access your Upwork account.

You'd have to create a agency and make him/her a hiring maager within the agency. He/She could apply on your behalf, but not pretend to be you.

You must not allow anyone else to log into your Upwork account. That could get your account suspended or terminated.

But you are allowed to hire an assistant. Many clients and freelancers who use Upwork have assistants that work for them. An assistant could look for jobs that are likely to interest you and send you links. An assistant can also help you with communications. For example, you could cc your assistant in your latest email to a client:

"Fred,

I have CC-ed Martha on this email message. She is assisting me with communications. If you have any questions about the project, please write to her directly. I keep her appraised of the project status. If there is anything she doesn't know, then she can contact me directly and get back to you with an answer."
