ID Verification

Hi there,

I would like to verify my ID.  I haven't been asked for it yet though. But the problem is I can't find any link to get started.

Where can I find the ID verification link?

Hi thanks for replying to my question but to be honest I did not received any email regarding verification process can upwork send me verification link again I will be happy to do the verification one more thing I had been trying like 2 years to get me Upwork profile live here so i don't have problem on doing the verification

For the past two days I have been trying to verify my "Get Paid" account with my drivers license jpeg and other statement.  I keep getting this error.  I've tried on Chrome and Firefox and also cleared my cache.

 

Please assist

I have been trying to get my profile set up but that last thing  I need to do is verify my identity. The problem is that my Driver's License recently expired.  The CA DMV offices are currently only taking appointments.  The soonest available appointment is in two months! They have reduced their services because CA just issued the mandatory shelter-in-home policy. The last place I am trying to go to during this pandemic is the DMV. Please help.

 

Also I lost my social security card.

 

May I use a W-2 form or something to verify my identity?

Hi Goran,

 

I appreciate the response. That's correct. I did submit it using the app when it asks you to take a picture of your Driver's License but I am fairly certain that it is going to deny me because it expired recently. And renewing it implies visiting the dmv, which thus implies I will be having to wait several months to schedule an appointment. Here in CA they are only accepting appointments at the moment after the covid-19 pandemic shelter-in-home order went into effect yesterday.

 

They did mention that they were giving DL renewal extensions(up to 60 days)during this time period. I attached a screenchot of the message shown on the dmv ca website if that helps.

No, that is not possible.

It doesn't look like you need to verify your account yet. Please know that verifications cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to users of Upwork. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account with more information on how you can complete the verification process.

Hello,

I have 1 day left on account for identity verification. I already verified video interview.

Issue:
My Pakistan national ID card is in urdu language so upwork system does not detect it.
My passport is in English but expired since August 2019.

Help needed:

I have tried to contact via support tickets but no avail. All govt offices here are closed at least till 14 April. So I cannot renew my passport for verification.

I am new to upwork and have my first active contract. If my account goes on hold, it would destroy my freelance career before it even began.

If any official from upwork could help me in this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm posting here as last resort because I cannot find any plausible solution anywhere. And it's a panicking situation for me.

I hope upwork takes care of it's users in this time of crisis.

I was late on Id verification 

 

for 3 weeks i was on medical condition and returned this week and i have verified Id through a video call after few minutes i received verification badge then my account got suspended for no reason any one can explain this ?
