HI, I woud like to ask what do i need to do, in order for upwork to accept my account? because the account i set up in upwork in under my husband's name, I am using his card. What do i need to do to fix this problem?

Hi Jessyl,

I've checked your account and you recently added your bank info. Please allow 3 days for your withdrawal method to become active. We suggest that you set up a second payment method as a backup, just in case your first one isn't available for some reason. We have a list of payment method on this article.

Hi Jessyl, 

 

I checked your account and it looks like it has been accepted since October of last year. Were you seeing any notification on your end that your profile is yet to be accepted?

I take it that since the OP has now admitted that she had opened an account under her husband's name and worse, is using his banking details, this account will be suspended?

Thanks for your reply. I already change my account details in my Upwork as I confirmed in the Bank, that my account is still active that's why I change it right away. My payment details is now under my legal name. I really appreciated your help, i just got confused since I am a beginner in Upwork, I thought it would be okay to use my husband's account but as I keep on reviewing what i read in Upwork, i remove it right away because mismatch in my name will not help me to be able to receive my payment. Thanks for your help. I really appreciated it.

Just to clarify what I meant in my post, the account i set up in upwork is under my name, what the "account" i mean in my post is that "the ATM account" use in payment details because my card is not yet active that's why I just try if upwork will accept another bank account, that's why i used my husband's atm account since he gave me a permission to that but then as i keep on reviewing the upwork help center, I really need to have an ATM account or bank account under my legal name that's why I asked i confirmed if my bank account is active and it is confirmed that it is active. I just want to clarify that my upwork account is under my legal name ever since i started here , it's just that i got confused with the payments method since I am just a beginner here. thanks Avery for your help, i really appreciated it.
