Identity Verified badge information

Hi Upwork Team,

I got this line on my profile that being a Top rated freelancer i can add Identity Verified badge on my profile. I am from India and i tried to upload PAN card( It is issued by Indian Government). It has my Name,Birth date and photo but for some reason it is not accepting it and now i see a line stating that "We’re unable to process your ID at this time. You may be able to add your ID again later." Please can anyone help me to know what it means and how i can succefully complete the process for Identity Verified badge.

I checked this article's and went through the content's given in it. But still i am unable to figure out why the Government ID proof is not accepted while processing. I am using PAN card as ID proof, as here in India people do use it as ID proof.

Hi Goran, I facing same kind issue while getting verfied badge. I was uploading my Gov Id card photo. It didn't accepted my ID card. May be due to every written on it is in my native(Urdu) language. I can upload photo of my passport as well. But it is showing same line "We’re unable to process your ID at this time. You may be able to add your ID again later." and no option available to upload photo again. Please can you guide me what should I do

But I don't understand, according to the community manager of upwork 1 of the main things to get this badge is being top rated, and I'm not Top Rated, but I think I have the things to be top rated.

Can you explain to me this, please, why I have this badge?, Why I'm not Top Rated yet?.

You don't become top rated by getting that badge. You misunderstood.

Go to your My Stats Page

Do you have 13 or more top rated eligible weeks, a 100% complete profile and 12 month earnings over $ 1000, as well as a 0 next to "recent account holds?"
