I recently recieved email upwork requiring to obtain identity verification badge. They said to complete two steps:
1) First step is to upload Government issued id by viewing the link: https://www.upwork.com/ab/identity-verification/ . But unfortunately, this link redirects me to https://www.upwork.com/ab/find-work/ so I can't upload government issued id. I have attached my profile setting screenshot where I can't find any option on left hand menu to upload government issued id.
2) However the second step to complete video chat with upwork agent by this link: https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us?action=verify-profile worked well .
Now my question is how I can complete the first step or it is already done? I will be really grateful to you if you please tell me what is the current status of my identity verification badge status.

Hi Alkesandar, sorry to bother you again. Your feedback worked greatly as the upwork support responded accordingly and the identity verification setting is now available in my upwork setting. I uploaded my govt. id and it is verified but strange thing is I have completed my video verification on 22 February,2020 but it is showing the old date 2017 of my earlier video verification chat. I know that it should not take more than 24 hours but it is already 3 days since I completed my video verification process but it is still showing to "verify my identity" on top of my page. It will be great to know when my identity is fully verified.

I checked this with the team and they confirmed that this is okay and not a bug. Since you already have an open ticket, feel free to update the same ticket thread if you have further questions regarding your verification.
