I am a freelancer, currently live in the U.S. I am planning to go back to my country for a couple months. Is it possible for me to work there under the platform of upwork?

re: "Is it possible for me to work there under the platform of upwork?"
Yes.
Except for four or five countries such as North Korea, Upwork allows people in nearly all countries to use the platform. Upwork allows freelancers who move from one country to another country to continue using the platform.
Upwork simply asks that users comply with local laws and regulations. But Upwork will not tell you what those laws are. Upwork asks you to consult with local authorities and experts.
We really cannot tell you much more. Because we don't know your nationality, passport status, visa status, the nationality of your parents, spouse, other relatives, the nature of your work, your criminal history, your educational history, your travel history, etc. All of these things could be factors in determining whether you are allowed to work in a given place.
So best to not ask here, other than to know that Upwork allows you to work if you're legally allowed to work.

Thank you for the response it was of great help. Can you explain that will my location on my profile remain the same or will others be able to see my current location?

Hi Zaid,
Thank you for reaching out to us. The location on your profile should stay the same and it would be the same thing that others will see unless you change it.
