What does it mean to be declined by a client because of "Inappropriate job posting"? even if I did write something inappropriate in the proposal (which is not the case here) shouldn`t it say for example "inappropriate proposal" ?
Marwa, it means Upwork removed the job because it violates Upwork rules. It's a poorly written error message that Upwork ought to change but hasn't.

hey petra, that's my question, what was said when she applied?
It was NOT her proposal that was inappropriate, it was the client and / or the job posting so Upwork ended the proposal and took the Job Posting down and / or took action against the client.
Nothing unusual Isaac, It was a translation job and I talked about my experience in this field, how I handled similar projects, and my skills, and it was said in a formal way as usual, no chance here for anything inappropriate.
Dead right. I got one of those messages too; first I checked all my messages for unintentional smut, then I started to worry that the client wanted me to write pornos. It really SHOULD be reworded; very misleading for Newbies.
