Incorrect bank detials

I withdrew some funds on the 18 April but have just realised that I have not get the money in my acount yet because I entered some incorrect bank acount detils. What can I do so I can get the money?

You should reach out to your bank about the error. Also, update your banking information on Upwork.

I've reached out to my bank and they have said the payment will need to be traced on your end, is there someone I can speak to?

Hi James,

 

If the payment can't be received due to incorrect banking information, it will eventually be returned to your Upwork balance. It can take some time though. Make sure to update your payment method information on your Upwork account before you withdraw it again.

Thanks, do you know how long this will take? Its been over 2 weeks now since I withdrew the money.

Hi James,

 

We can't advise on the time frame for the reversal but it can take anywhere between a week to four weeks for the funds to appear in your account balance.
