Invitation for Interview not worked

Hi

I have not received inviation for interview sent by client. I have noticed that 2-3 client sent tthe inviation for interview, but i have not received any invitation in upwork or mail.

Please suggest what issues exist in my account.

How do you know one was sent if you haven't recieved it?

I have noticed that 2 -3 jobs have total 18 applicants. And 18 invitation sent show in client activity section. But i have not received any invitation.
One client sent a message using upwork and asked me to accept the inviation for interview, but i don't received any inviation.

 That means the client may have archived or declined some applicants.

The number of applicants ONLY includes those that are still in the running, if your proposal was archived or declied you no longer count as an applicant and don't count as an invitation either.

The client can ONLY send you a message to accept an invitation via your application so he aready has your proposal and it seems nonsensical to send you a message via your proposal to make a proposal.

Plus your profile is private, so clients could not find you to send you invitations even if they wanted to...
