Hi, so I have a big problem with the invoices generated by Upwork. There is no way for me to edit the invoice structure and the invoice is addressed to me (using my First and Last name) not to the Legal name from the Tax info so I can't use it. 

How should I proceed with this because from what I can see here this is a major problem, especially in Europe, where the Invoice strucutre is a bit different.

Hi Razvan,

You can set up a different address to show on the invoices. However, your own name will show on it. A lot of freelancers shared that they create separate invoices if they need a different format from the one Upwork can offer. You can try that route as well.

Hi Valeria. Ok, so what you just said raised me two questions:

1. How can be legal to issue two invoices ? There should be an option to disable upwork invoices.

2. How can I send the invoice to the client ?

Hi, I still have some problems with the invoice. I have a business in my country and I work here on behalf of my business, so all money from here goes into the business account. On Tax Information > Legal Name I have my business name. The invoice from me to the client is good, (is shows my business name) but the invoice from upwork is wrong because it isn't issued on my Legal Name, it's issued using my name from Contact Info. Can you please do something about this ? Because I can't register that invoice under my company if it isn't showing my company's name.

Hi Maria. No, still no solution from Upwork.

I had a chat with customer service. They suggested me to create an Agency on Upwork using my company's name.
