Irrelevant jobs showing and not enough relevant jobs since last month

Since last month, a lot of irrelevant jobs start to show up in my news feed. I am a video editor and motion designer but my job feed is full of graphic design jobs. That's not a big issue, but I am not getting enough relevant jobs now. I sit all day and still some days, I can't find the right jobs to submit proposals to.

There are no saved searches. I tried removing my skills to see if changes my feed. I changed my categories, I changed my skills. I also tried to "doesn't match skills" to irrelevant jobs. But nothing seems to affect my job feed.

Also, I have 100% JSS but I get no invitations. I never get these. Even my profile is viewed 2-4 times a week(I don't that's normal or not)

I am stressed because of this since I am not getting any new work. Please help me out.

Hi Bojan! Thanks for answering. My problem is gone now. Let me tell everybody how!

Number 1: I set up a custom search for my keyword "video"(since I do video editing) and saved the search. This way I could access my relevant jobs.

Number 2: I removed all my skills and my categories, used the job fee for about 15 mins and then re-entered all my skills and categories. It updated my job feed and now shows me relevant results.

Thanks for helping out.

Hi Usman,

On the search results page, use the filters on the left to further narrow your results and then set up a new Job Feed as described here in order to fine-tune your job searches to show the better results that match up with what you’re looking for.

You can check our Resource Cente and Talent Education articles that might help you up with boosting your career on Upwork.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.
