Is Working Through an LLC with 50% Ownership Permissible on Upwork?

I understand that it's permissible to work on Upwork as a freelancer through an LLC. However, I'm curious about the implications of owning only 50% of that LLC. Is it still acceptable to operate on Upwork under such an arrangement? I've noticed that many U.S. expatriates form LLCs where they own only a 50% share to sidestep U.S. GILTI (Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income) tax obligations.

Additionally, is there a minimum ownership percentage required to work under an LLC on Upwork?
