Is a client sent a notification if I change my bid?

If I lower the price of my bid on a project, is the client sent a notification of some sort?

Nicole,

If you click the "Propose Different Terms" button, you will see there is a field labeled "Let the client know what you're changing". Presumably the client will get an email and/or notification that you changed your proposal (just like I assume they do when you initially submit a proposal), and this is where you can explain why/how you adjusted it.

I have never seen this, does anyone else did ?

Nicole and others,

If you are already interviewing with the client (meaning they have accepted your proposal or you accepted their invite), then you'll be able to add a message when proposing different terms. If your proposal hasn't been accepted, the client isn't specifically notified if you propose different terms, they will see the new bid amount when they view your proposal.
