Is anyone able to delete file uploads I messaged?

I think that phenomenon happens to a lot of us! I know I tried to go back the same day and delete, but couldn't. The time limit must be short.

I assume that by the time they answered the files were already downloaded and saved on their PCs. I wish there's an option to delete files.

I am able to delete files I uploaded to potential candidates, but I have a file in a dropbox link that was shared by a recruiter I had temporarily hired. How can I delete the file in the dropbox link that I created?

I had to block my freelancer because I wasn’t able to delete bank account numbers accidentally send to him. I do not want to send you guys my banking routing and account numbers either. So I can not send file if that’s what you guys are requesting down below

I also can not delete files uploaded. This is more a problem on ad postings. The files were for recruitment, and should not be available to everyone after the job is closed. I need to delete files from public ad posts that are closed. This is a problem on the Upwork platform, or policy.
