Is it allowed to offer Web Scraping Services on Upwork?

Greetings!

I am new to Upwork as a freelancer and I specialize in Web Scraping Services. I had been offering my services on some other freelancing platforms as well but I had to face issues there as my gig was removed 2 times being mentioned that the services I offered violated a 3rd party's ToS somehow. They did not even mention what was the violation or who was that 3rd party at all.

So it raises my concern here at Upwork as well. Are there any restrictions imposed by upwork regarding web scraping or data mining services?

Any help or guidance would be really appreciated.

Hi Fakhar,

Generally, on Upwork it's not allowed to request or offer to conduct any data mining and/or scraping activities of any information if those activities would violate the terms of service of another website.
