Is it allowed to use another time tracker app?

Hello,

One of my clients sent me an invitation to another time tracker app so i can register to it and use it during my work, because they like to keep track of all the working time progress of their team members under one account.

I'm guessing perhaps i can use both of these time tracking apps at the same time.

So my question is this allowed in the terms of Upwork? Or should i refuse using this second tracking app?

I have used TimeTracker and a separate work time tracking app for many years.

As long as you use TimeTracker properly...

...you will get paid for hourly work.

If the client wants you to duplicate that information on a separate app, that's completely up to you. Upwork has no reason to care - only your proper use of TimeTracker matters to Upwork.

I'd like to confirm that it's okay as long as the contract and payment will be through Upwork. Please also note that payment protection will only cover time tracked through Upwork.
