Is links to other sites with contact info allowed ?

Hi,

I came across a couple of freelancer profiles here who has links to other sites with contact info.

Behance.

Is that allowed ?  

I thought it was not allowd to show any contact info on here.

I would flag them.

"Like the rest of your profile, posting contact info isn’t allowed in your portfolio. That means these files (and linked sites) can’t include your email address, phone number, or chat ID."

I think its as well unfair to fellow freelancers as well as a violation.

So if a client asks for proof of work, such as a blog etc. and projects on Github when I submit a proposal.  How do we handle that?

You can share this information in the message room, created after your client responded to your proposal. make sure not to communicate with the client outside Upwork if they haven't responded to your proposal here, or start working without an active contract on Upwork.
