Is my client got suspended?

As per today, I see the message “xxx does not currently have access to Upwork and will not receive messages until access is restored”. I have an hourly contract and I have already worked for about 3.50 hours, how do I get paid? Do I still have a chance to get paid?

Did you use the tracker and meaningful work memos and decent activity levels? Then you should be protected in most cases

Is the contract on hold too?

Yes, I always use the time tracker. The contract is still active, I think, no changes to the contract.

By the way, if let say the client never come back. How long should I wait until I get paid?

With hourly contracts you get paid automatically. The client doesn't have to do anything.

I see, ok thanks, I will just wait until I get paid automatically.
