I did a job for a client, she was pleased, gave good feedback and paid me.We discussed a new project, I submitted a proposed contract but she is very busy and has not made me an offer on the new contract. Is there a time limit on when she needs to respond? It has been 7 days. Will my proposed contract expire?

Thanks for reaching out. Anytime you propose a new contract we automatically notify your client by both emailing them and sending a note via Upwork Messages. They will also see “Review Proposed Contract” listed under their “Pending Contracts.” Your client then has several options: they can approve the proposal, make a counteroffer, decline the proposal, or simply ignore it (proposed contracts automatically expire after 120 days). Please know we cannot guarantee that your client will respond.
