Hello,

I have invited a client here on upwork but he says he gets 20% off on **Edited for Community Guidelines** so why he should pay here?

Is there any discount fro buyers on new orders here or any promo code?

Looking forward for the recomenditions.

Thanks!

Hi Faizan,

Clients are charged a 2.75% processing fee on all payments, they are not charged with anything else. If further help is needed let me know, thank you.

Yes I know, and agree eith that 2.75%

But the client is saying **Edited for Community Guidelines** discount where as I am bringing him to Upwork where he is not getting this, so he is confused.

So is there any discounts for new Buyers on Upwork?

Any help in this regard would be appreciated!

Thanks

Hi Faizan,

Unfortunately no, we don't have any discounts on our processing fee for clients. Thank you.

It will be a Fixed Price project? HE see there is an option to add promo code?

What is that?

If the client had a promo code, they would know it...

Are you not a little excessively involved in your "client's" business?

Thanks for the reply,

No, I am just asking as I am pitching him to use Upwork.

He dont have the promo code, but he see the option on job creation page. He is just asking if he get the same discount here which he is getting on **Edited for Community Guidelines**, then he is willing to use Upwork.

Hope this clears!

Thanks

I think you are failing to understand that on Upwork the fees other than the 2.75% payment processing fee is paid by the freelancer (you) and not by the client.

So any discount would be given by you, not by Upwork.

In other words, it is up to you whether you want to give a discount or not.

So don't bring the client to Upwork and work on the other platform.
