I've submitted quite a few proposals, but nobody has ever responded. There's no evidence that anyone has ever seen one of my proposals. For all I know they just disappear when I click on Submit. Is there a way to know whether a client has at least looked at a proposal? What am I doing wrong? I need some feedback.

The client can see all proposals, but when they receive dozens they are unlikely to actually open and read all of them. In the little pre-view window they only see your picture, bid and the first two lines of your proposal letter, so use those 2 lines to sell yourself.

You can compare the time you submitted your proposal with the "Last Viewed By Client:" field in the job post itself, but that just means they MIGHT have looked at it. The only way to know for sure is if they contact you.
