Is there some kind of payment bias?

I'm a Jamaican freelance writer and I earn in US. I want to use the direct deposit to put my money in my local USD account but the only option I see is deposit in Jamaican. How is this even rational to not offer a dual currency deposit? Can't there be a check option too?

Direct Deposit is always in local currency. If you want to withdraw in US Dollar into a Dollar account outside the US you have to use wire transfer.

In your Upwork account settings do you specify "USA" or "Jamaica" as your country?
