Is there something wrong with my profile?

Hello everyone. I did some freelancing while working full time back in February, I got a few clients but had to cancel all of my jobs more or less because I just didn't have the time. Unfortuantely bit off more than I can chew and now I've since quit my full time job and decided to pursue full time freelancing. I have other platforms but upwork was always the best one for me to use. Now since trying to get back to it I've gotten no replies to my proposals so I'm wondering does my profile have some sort of black mark for cancelled jobs and if so, would it just be better to start over from scratch with a new account?

Just how many jobs did you cancel (with every single one counting as an unsuccessfuloutcome in your metrics)?

You are not allowed to do that, it will get you banned.

To answer your question I believe it was a total of 1 job I actually accepted and had to cancel, the others were in talks but never came to fruition.

Thanks for letting me know about the new account thing, I had my suspicions but wasn't sure. I should probably take a look at the terms of service.

The job that you closed with zero earnings will hurt your Job Success Score, when you get one after you've finished a few more jobs. But for now there is no visible sign of it. Jobs that you discussed without accepting have no effect at all.

Looking at your profile shows no "black marks", but your test scores aren't excactly high, even though they are "above average". I'd either hide them, or work on getting the scores higher.

Same issue here and I'm sure with most. I've been doing this 20+ years and sent 20 proposals (even 2 said I would do for FREE) ha ha AND not ONE respomse. I think Upwork has a new agenenda to collect fees via freelancers for not so real job postings.
