Hello Upwork,
Please would you please check if the name and email address below work with you?
**Edited for Community Guidelines**is Rhensey Nunez's email address.
He reached out to me via LinkedIn and followed up with an email on a job ad. I would like to know if it is authentic.
He set up a Google Meet for an interview after using Calendly to request for some information.

Check the Upwork TOS. Any off-site communication before a contract is sent is prohibited. If someone claimed to be from Upwork and tried to set up a Google meet... yes, it's absolutely a scam. Upwork talent acquisition doesn't work that way. Nobody working with Upwork is going to set up a Google Meet with you.
And even if they don't claim to be working FOR upwork, scammers tend to try to use off-site communication precisely so their scam can fly under the radar. Which is exactly why Upwork prohibits such communications pre-contract.
