I received an invite via UPwork and was asked to contact the client by email if interested in the job. I did that (thought was strange but was curious). I noticed that in the UPwork proposal history the potential client declined my proposal but is reaching out to me via email. I have recieved information on the company and what I will be assigned to do but I will be paid weekly via mail as opposed to through Upwork. Should I proceed any further? They haven't asked for my resume yet or what else I need to do to reply.
