Hello Hassan, I am facing the same issue. I have seen that some freelancers have uploaded GIFs, but when I try to upload one, Upwork rejects it.

Hello Hassan and everyone,

I want to clarify that we do not currently support files with .gif extensions. The file you are trying to upload must have either a .jpeg or .png extension. Please see this article for some best practices when choosing a profile photo.
