My JSS was 97%. I got a feedback removed from one of my job last week and its 86% now. How is it possible!

What does this mean then ??? "If removing that contract would cause your JSS to fall, we will leave it in your JSS calculations even if you choose to remove it from your profile. This prevents the hiding of a score/comment from ever negatively impacting your JSS."

If accurate, it means removing the feedback isn't the reason your JSS fell.
What is your percentage of clients who would recommend?

88%, and this is same for the past 2 months.

Well, you'll note that your "would recommend" percentage and JSS are very close. So, it is likely that the would recommend number has a lot to do with where your JSS is at the moment.
A client may be happy enough with your work to give you a nice star rating but not so much that he or she would tell someone else to hire you. That is the essence of the "would recommend" score. Would I tell one of my friends to hire this person? As a client, I have worked with freelancers who did well enough that I didn't feel like I needed to give them a lowered star rating. But, I wouldn't recommend them to someone else because I think the freelancer could have done better. In those instances, I probably gave them somewhere between 6 and 8 on the recommend score. It's a different metric.

Tonya, that raises a question I've been curious about. My percentage is 94. Is that good?

I get that mam, but would recommend - 88% has been there for over 2 months now. And If everything is fine then why am i still top rated my JSS is only 86% not 90%+

That means if you hide / remove a contract that would not have hurt your JSS, (because it had positive private feedback) Upwork do not remove the contract's impact on your JSS.
Did any of the following happen?
If not, then whatever job ended in the last two weeks before the update came with poor private feedback.

You are not.
